These work outs are not for the faint at heart. If you are serious about getting into shape then stick with them and you WILL see a difference. I love to work out to DVD's that engage and make me feel like I am actually getting somewhere and that is exactly what these do! I do not diet, I eat what I want and try not to over due it and I still saw results with these videos!! It is really something to see and feel a difference. One word of caution, the second set of DVD's have a lot of hard work for joints and I injured my meniscus doing one of the moves and it put me out of working out for months. I am slowly trying to get back at it but I had to go back to the first set of DVD's and start over to rebuilt my knee in order to be able to move on. It has been a long road but I cannot wait to get back at it. I am so inspired by Jillian and her videos, she is truly motivating and you WILL see a difference if you keep at it!!
I watched the first section of this DVD, and for a beginner, I think it's a bit too advanced for me. So I bought the Gillian Michaels 30 days shred for beginners and am working on that before I move on to these DVD's. Jillian makes everything possible, even if you are really overweight. You just have to find a comfortable starting point so you don't injure yourself. I will save this BodyShred advanced program and will work on it when I finish the other program first.
Jillians hardest set by far! I’m only on week 4 and it’s hard core! NOT for beginners at all. But for those that love Jillian and have done her others, you will love this. I did Body Revolution first, good starting point to build up before you move to this.
This is my first time doing a Jillian Michaels workout dvd and I gotta say I’m really feelin it! I love Jillian’s energy and her positive attitude! I am pretty heavy but I can still do this workout though I have done Shaun T T25 workouts both alpha and beta but I wanted to try out a different workout dvd. I am currently on week 3. it can get intense but it’s not impossible! also the way the intervals are set up makes time fly! I highly recommend this workout :)
